Account Deletion You can permanently delete your Bible Insight AI account at any time by opening Open Bible Insight AI, go to Settings → Delete Account in the app and confirming your request. Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data are permanently removed from our active systems immediately. This includes your account profile, saved prayers, notes, bookmarks, highlights, reading progress, reading plans, AI chat history, and other account-associated content. We may retain limited non-identifiable operational records or infrastructure backups for disaster recovery or to comply with applicable legal obligations. You can initiate deletion directly in the app: Settings > Account Actions > Delete Account. If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by contacting support.

What data is deleted when I delete my account?
Permanently deleted items include: your account profile (email, name, profile attributes), saved notes, highlights, saved insights, study plans, preferences, usage logs tied to your account, and device associations. Data directly linked to your account in active systems is removed. Data that has been anonymized or aggregated for analytics may remain in anonymized form, not tied to you.

How long does deletion take, and what about backups?
Deletion is processed promptly after you confirm the request. Data is removed from active systems within days. Complete purging from backups follows our retention timelines as described in our policies. We provide ongoing documentation about what is retained and why, and when deletion is finalized.

Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Once an account is deleted, recovery is not possible through standard pathways. If you want to use Bible Insight AI again, you will need to create a new account.
